Observations on Battery Life
I think that the issue of offering long battery life is not considered remarkable enough.
In other words, it seems that it may not have found many fans with a battery life as long as Apple (without losing much performance).
If an opinion is formed about the performance of laptops with Snapdragon X Elite processors over time, this situation may change.

Other Possible Reasons
Apart from Snapdragon X processors in the Microsoft Surface series, other major manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer and Asus seem a little more cautious.
